Beth is a classically trained cellist who happens to be a rock n’ roller at heart. She
first pursued her cello studies at the University of Oklahoma, graduating summa cum laude
in 2001 and then the University of Colorado, completing a Masters Degree in Cello
Performance in 2004. She now teaches privately and freelances throughout Colorado, and
is the founder and director of Sphere Ensemble, a conductorless string ensemble noted as a
rising force in Colorado’s music scene. She also performs regularly with Boulder-based
indie-rock band Wadirum and numerous side projects throughout the Denver metro area.
Praised for her adaptive yet virtuosic playing,Beth has performed chamber recitals
across the United States and in Europe. She has appeared on stage with musicians as diverse
as Lynn Harrell to renown pop and electronic musician Moby, to violin virtuoso and
“world musician” Kailin Yong. Along with her passion for performing, Beth has
an interest in the prevention and treatment of performance-related injuries in musicians,
advocating therapeutic studies such as the Alexander Technique.
Cami: Master of Trumpet! Cami moved to Colorado for graduate study in music therapy at Colorado State University, where she earned a master of music degree. In high demand, Cami plays all along the Front Range, performing with the Boulder Philharmonic, Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, Fort Collins Symphony and the Colorado Symphony. Clint Lives Jazz! This long time resident of New York received his undergraduate degree from Long Island University and completed his master’s program here in Colorado. He brings “east coast cool” to our region. He worked for many years as an adjunct professor at Long Island University and remains an active Jazz Guitar Instructor. Competitions which Cobus has won include the UNISA Performers Licentiate Competition, the CFA Orchestral Excerpt Competition, the Boulder Philharmonic Young Artist Competition, the Beeld Eisteddfod, the Bruce Ekstrand Memorial Competition, the Byron Hester Flute Competition and the SAMRO International Music Scholarship Competition. Kaori has participated in the National Repertory Orchestra, Aspen Music Festival and School, Kyoto International Music Student Festival, and the Colorado Mahler Fest Orchestra. Kaori has performed nationally and internationally as both soloist and chamber musician, earning many awards. She won the Honor Competition at the University of Colorado twice (2004 and 2007), placed fifth of 137 bassoonists at the 24th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition in 2007, and was a finalist in the Tsuyama Japan International Double Reed Competition in 2003. She graduated with her Artist Diploma in bassoon performance at the University of Colorado at Boulder in May 2009 after receiving her Master of Music degree at CU in 2008. Karine was born and raised in Moscow. She started playing violin at the age of six, and was accepted at Gnessin’s Moscow Special Music School, where she studied with Irina Svetlova and Helen Mazor. Ida : violin
After ranking first at the entrance exams at the Academy of Arts in Albania and being one of the ten best students in the country, Ida Findiku decided to come to America to follow her childhood dream and continue her music education. She finished her undergraduate studies at the Western Michigan University studying with Renata Knifik from the Merling Trio. She was granted a scholarship to work with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra and played with them and other community orchestras for four years.
Ms. Findiku was rewarded a full scholarship and an assistantship to pursue her master degree at the University of Denver where she worked with the world known soloist Linda Wang. While finishing her Performance Certificate at DU Ms. Findiku won the 2012 Lamont Chamber Music Competition. She received another full ride to continue her Orchestral Studies Certificate with the talented Colorado Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Yumi Hwang-Williams.

Veronika was born and raised in Novosibirsk.
