International Year of the Bird concert at the Louisville Center for the Arts this Sunday Oct 14 at 3 pm.
This will be a multifaceted event featuring poetry, visual media, and classical, bluegrass, folk and jazz songs about and inspired by …Birds! Laurie Amodeo and Scott Martin are performing the beautiful Jobim tune Passarim along with Emma Shubin, flute, Kat Fritz, viola, and Andy Reiner, violin, along with other fun stuff. Scott will also be collaborating with poet Erin Schaaf Robertson too.

They’ll be playing standards, originals, arrangements, a diverse assortment of music.
