Ida was born in Tirana, Albania. She came to the USA in 2004 to follow her passion for music and pursue her studies. Ida holds degrees from the Western Michigan University (BMA in Violin Performance with Renata Knific), University of Denver (MM in Violin Performance and Performance Certificate with Linda Wang, Orchestral Studies Certificate with Yumi Hwang), and the University of Colorado, Boulder (DMA with Harumi Rhodes from the Takàsc Quartet). She is a freelance performer and private instructor; equally comfortable at sharing the stage with classical and pop artists. Ida is a certified Suzuki teacher, performs with the major community orchestras, and is an active chamber music player currently living in the Colorado area.
